. “Optimum has been a trusted resource for senior managers in the public sector for 30 years,” noted Gilles Paquet, editor of Optimum and founder of the Centre on Governance at the University of Ottawa. “One of the reasons for its success has been its ability to keep up with its readers. Today, those readers are online. So we’re going online with them.” Optimum carries articles and analysis on the theory and practice of management at senior levels of the public sector. The online edition is goes to over 8,000 senior managers at all levels of government, as well as academics and others with an interest in public policy management. Paquet noted that readers will still be able to read Optimum articles in print, by downloading them to a printer from the website at www.optimumonline.ca. Optimum material dating back to 1998 is also available online, he added. Optimum online is produced for the School of Political Studies, University of Ottawa by The Summit Group.
